Trinity Oaks 2014 Chardonnay was produced from a blend of 60% Lodi-Delta and 40% Coastal region Chardonnay grapes. The grapes for this vintage were harvested from top vineyard locations throughout California with a focus on coastal climates proven to produce superior, expressive fruit.
The wine undergoes partial malolactic fermentation to enhance aromas and mouthfeel and is then aged in a combination of French and American oak, with 78% fermented on French and American oak staves.
Complex varietal aromas with citrus and pineapple flavors, with a top note of sweet oak. This medium bodied, well-balanced Chardonnay makes an ideal accompaniment to fish and poultry dishes.
